Challenge

A national home services provider had accumulated systems over years of investment. Documentation was thin, costs were rising and leadership could not clearly see where spending and security risks were concentrated. Before choosing what to modernize, the team needed a reliable account of what it already had.

Approach

We audited more than 80 systems and applications, reviewing licenses, integrations and security. The findings identified more than $12 million in potential savings and gave leadership a plan for addressing security gaps, duplicate systems and aging architecture.

Outcome

The diagnostic led to an ongoing engagement. An assistant running on the client’s premises now supports continuous security audits as the environment changes. Leaders can ask which issues have been addressed and which remain open.
